Cher nails the net neutrality debate in one excellent tweetOn November 22, 2017 by Maybell
Cher ain’t got time for anything threatening a free and open internet.
The Federal Communications Commission plans to repeal net neutrality rules instilled by the Obama administration, with widespread concerns that the move will end the internet as we know it.
Net neutrality rules ensure consumers have equal, consistent access to the internet. Removing them favours telecoms and tech companies, who will have the ability to charge extra fees for access to certain websites or services, or limit or curb access to them.
Steadily but surely arising as the queen of Twitter, Cher spoke out on the issue Tuesday. All we can say is, what she said:
Net Neutrality means
Trump can Change The
Internet ‼️It Will Include LESS AMERICANS NOT MORE‼️
Will show you ONLY WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO SEE ‼️SLOWER AND MORE EXPENSIVE AT THEIR WHIM‼️SEE LESS,CHARGED MORE…

Of course, Cher hasn’t championed net neutrality before, but she’s been vocal against decisions by Trump, or that have to do with the President.
Gotta stay mad.
